BECOME A VOLUNTEER
Ready to make a difference through FCA? Apply to become a Ministry Volunteer by completing our Volunteer Application. (VIP) This is required for all volunteers serving the ministry of FCA.
Submitting an application expresses your desire to serve but does not guarantee acceptance. Applications are reviewed by local and national FCA staff. A background check will be completed as well.
As a Ministry Volunteer, you'll receive training and support to serve Christ through FCA programs. Thank you for considering this impactful opportunity!

ARE
connected
with an FCA Representative and received your VIP program link, please continue to the Steps below.
You are ready to begin!
You should have received an email from your FCA Representative with a link to the VIP portal and the specific FCA Program that you will be volunteering for. If you don't have the link you can search in the toolbar for your program in the portal.
*If you need help or have questions at any point in your journey, please contact your local FCA Representative.

3. Complete Your Required Training
Your account dashboard will show a list of the training courses you are required to complete. The number of required training programs is dependent on the role you are applying for.
* After completing each training program, return to your dashboard for instructions on the next required course.
- Please note that the 60 minute Child Abuse Prevention Training is mandatory for all applicants. This training is part of FCA’s national application process. Because state requirements for mandated reporters (such as teachers and coaches) vary, FCA has implemented a standardized training program for all volunteers. FCA requires every volunteer (regardless of state)to complete the FCA Abuse Prevention Program as part of the application process. Please be sure to click on the button at the end of the video to confirm that you have completed the video. This is a commonly missed step.
4. Awaiting background check & references results - We are processing your information. This can take a few days to a week for staff to receive results.
5. Finalize
- Confirm that you have completed all the required tasks on your dashboard
- Notify your FCA Representative that you have completed the VIP Journey

Thank You!

WAYS TO VOLUNTEER
CHARACTER COACH
One of the most important roles coaches play in preparing players for competition and life is to give them a chance to develop good character.
We expect a game plan for coaching the X’s and O’s of our sport. What isn’t always clear is how to coach character. Over time we have seen an ever-growing gap develop between coaching the fundamental aspects of a specific sport and the development of quality character. Character Coaches exist to fill this crucial gap in developing the complete athlete.
HUDDLE HOSTS
Huddle Hosts are needed to oversee our school wide huddles. A Huddle is a gathering of athletes from multiple sports teams and all whom they influence. During these huddles, we gather in fellowship to share the love of Jesus. FCA Campus Huddles are held on campus during non-instructional time. This can be before school, during lunch periods, after school, after practice, in the evening, etc.
HUDDLE PARTNER
Church Sponsors adopt an FCA Campus Huddle, committing to championing its mission and growth. This involves supporting the huddle through prayer, providing monthly speakers, donating food, and fostering connections with the coaching staff. By partnering with a huddle, church sponsors play a vital role in encouraging students, building relationships, and sharing the love of Jesus within the school community.
HUDDLE SPEAKER
Sign up to be added to our speaker list and get connected with our 29 FCA Campus Huddles! As a speaker, you'll have the opportunity to inspire students, share your faith, and make a lasting impact. Huddle leaders will reach out to schedule your visit and provide details on how you can encourage their group. You will need to complete the Volunteer Interest Form above and be contacted by admin.
